The ALDEN Guarantee
The warranty for manufacturing defects applies from the invoice date to the purchaser, provided that the warranty certificate is returned. If it is not returned, this warranty is limited in time. In order to make use of the product warranty, the purchase invoice for the product concerned must be kept without fail.
Please note: Any intervention without the written consent of SAS ALDEN will automatically void the warranty. The customer and the purchaser shall not be entitled to any compensation of any kind for dismantling, reassembly or loss of use of less than 30 days. SAS ALDEN shall not be liable for incidents or damage of any kind resulting from installation that does not comply with the recommendations of SAS ALDEN. Please note that every electrical installation must be protected by a suitable fuse.
The following are excluded from the ALDEN warranty:
the replacement of consumables and wear parts;
improper use or use of the products for purposes other than those intended. In this regard, we ask you to carefully read the operating instructions supplied with the products;
malfunctions caused by accessories or faulty installation;
defects and their consequences caused by the intervention of a repair service not approved by SAS ALDEN;
defects and their consequences resulting from improper use of the product;
defects and their consequences resulting from external influences.
In general, installations must be carried out professionally and in accordance with the applicable standards. It is assumed that the installer and the user are aware of the regulations and laws, such as the road traffic regulations, as well as the legal provisions regarding payload. The installer and the user must keep themselves informed about the installation regulations. If these regulations are not observed, the installer and the user may not claim any compensation or warranty.
In any case, however, the provisions of the statutory warranty shall apply to you, in particular those relating to the warranty for hidden defects.
Please note: The assertion of warranty claims and any possible return require the prior approval of SAS ALDEN. Any returns must be sent carriage paid and are at the expense of the sender: the customer in the case of a return to ALDEN, and ALDEN in the case of a return to the customer. In the event of a request for return shipment by express service or ChronoPost, the costs for the return shipment to the customer shall be borne by the customer.
